Playmobil 70944 Western Fort Rocks

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 25, 2021

This set was announced on December 2021, the Playmobil 70944 Fort Rocks. A brand new western set by Playmobil, comes alongside other sets, like a Saloon, Sheriff’s quarters and others!

The horses are extremely realistic in this version of the western fort, a huge overhaul from the first vintage Western sets from the 90’s! Set 70944 is definitely worth buying if you are a fan of Playmobil Westerns!

Playmobil 9899 Native American Camp

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 11, 2020

This epic looking playmobil western set was released in the year 2020. Has a ton of accessories and a total of four native american characters, one wolf and a native baby.

Strangely this set did not stay in the market for long, it is already out of stock and removed entirely from the Playmobil store. Hopefully they will produce some more and sell in the USA again. This set is a relaunch from set number 5247 from the year 2012.

Playmobil 70012 Take Along Western City

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 14, 2018

This set 70012 is a Playmobil Take Along Western case that folds into a plastic briefcase to be carried along.

I am not a big fan of this set because I currently own the actual 90’s sheriff’s office and the saloon, and I compare them a lot. This one is lacking in size, that is all! Look inside (image below), there isn’t much space for play.

Above you can see all the accessories that comes with this set, a safe, money bills, canned food, a wanted poster, money bags, and five playmobil characters!

Playmobil 6546 Add-On Western Bandits

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 11, 2017

Here is another 2017 Playmobil Add-on for the Western sets. Here you get three new western characters, one being a female with a rifle and a cowboy hat.

A little fire and a cactus for decoration and three TNT explosives! The crate can be used to store the TNT safely when the bandits aren’t using it. These are three unique outlaws for any Playmobil Western set.

Playmobil 6478 Add-On Western Bank

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 11, 2016

This is a very rare set by Playmobil. Seems to be the only cool bank they released, besides the simple version from the 80’s. Hence, now people are trying to sell this for around $200.00 dollars.

I would not buy one until it is around a normal price of $50.00 dollars, that being a hefty profit above the retail price when it first came out. This set does not have characters, but is filled with accessories made for a western bank.

Playmobil 70013 Western Stagecoach

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 11, 2015

This western stagecoach was released by Playmobil in the year 2015, alongside other western sets. This is somewhat of a re-launch of an older 90’s stagecoach, this one having a different color scheme and new characters.

You can see the old set by just clicking on any Western link around this Playmobil fansite. In this new version, from 2015, there are only two horses pulling this stagecoach and two male characters, contrary to the four horses and four characters from the 90’s original.

Above you can see the accessories that comes with this playmobil set. A crate with golden coins, two bags, a rifle and pistol, plus a rancher that is probably the charriage driver.

Playmobil 5608 Carry Western Case

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 11, 2014

Another awesome Western set 5608 released in 2014, this time a playmobil carry case with two unique characters. One is a bounty hunter, the other the outlaw being hunted.

The bounty hunter has a wanted poster with a perfect drawing description of the outlaw. He carries a crate full of TNT and bags that look like money or gold coins.

Above you can see all the accessories that comes with this playmobil set 5608, including a very detailed white horse and a cactus tree.

Playmobil 5247 Native American Camp

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 11, 2012

This is the original native american camp, playmobil set 5247 from the year 2012. This set was relaunched in 2020 as an add-on, with a different native baby (wearing green instead of yellow) and two plastic tents instead of this large one.

A great set for Western Native American Playmobil fans, with a lot of characters and accessories. There is a lot of play time in this box!

Look at the amount of accessories this box has! Plus loose white arrows to play with, a realistic painted horse, totem, some rock formations and a tent.

Playmobil 3250 Native Camp Thunder

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 11, 2012

This is Playmobil set 3250, Native American camp thunder from the year 2012. This set has a lot of accessories and a total of five characters, one wolf and three horses.

This is a famous playmobil set, probably because it is a big Native American box, with a native camp and several characters retailed at a low price compared to the other large Indian camps.

Above you can see the large amount of accessories that playmobil put in this set 3250. Two rocky formations, a large teepee tent, three tapestries, a canoe, three horses and five characters. There is a lot in this box!

Playmobil 4130 Western Gold Superset

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 11, 2005

This is a neat superset, representing the history of the western days in the US soil, a time many people went out to hunt for gold. This playmobil character is doing exactly that, filtering the fine sand from under the river, looking for small pieces of gold nuggets.

You get a lot with this set, a whole piece of land with a river, some rocky mountains, a cowboy westerner with his horse and two native Americans. They could be friends, or foe, fighting for that gold, it is up to you.

Above you can see all the accessories that comes with this set, including all three new characters, the vulture, horse, bones and actual large gold ingots.

Playmobil 3034 Western Union General

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 8, 1999

This is the Western Union General, Playmobil set 3034 from the year 1999. Here you get somewhat a copy of the general that comes in Fort Bravo, both with double sided white beard and same uniform.

This set can and should be added to the Union Forts released by Playmobil from 1980 to 1999. Doesn’t matter what year the fort was released, they all match visually.

An important note for those trying to buy this set as used: His sword is not the saturated gold color, but the faded yellow version.

These are the accessories you get with the Western Union General. Four rifles, one sword, a large Union flag and a rack to store your rifles.

Playmobil 3036 Bandit Ambush

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 8, 1999

This playmobil set was released in the year 1999, alongside a few other two Western sets. You get two TNT packs and two outlaw characters.

The sign says “5 miles to Deadwood”, making this a scene from a road. Once the bandits blow up that tree, you can turn it 90 degrees to make it look like the tree fell with the explosion, hence causing a halt on any wagons going by that “road”.

Above you can see what comes in this set: Two horses, five pistols, a rocky formation with two trees, two characters, rifles and TNT explosives.

Playmobil 3035 Arms Smuggler

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 8, 1999

This is the Playmobil Western set 3035, Arms Smuggler. This guy reminds me of the bad outlaw that goes against Clint Eastwood in the Wild West movie: The Good, the bad and the ugly.

The character shown above has a Mexican style hat, with bandit clothing, he could be a bad apple who sells rifles on the side, an arms smuggler.

Above is the full playmobil review of the set 3035, arms smuggler, by PlaymoBello on Youtube. Feel free to like and subscribe if you enjoy it.

Above you can view all the accessories you get in this set, a total of four rifles, five pistols, a cacus, snake, crate, water cantine and one western character.

Playmobil 3037 National Bank Wagon

This is the 1999 western playmobil set 3037 the National Bank Armored Wagon. This fortress was used to transport gold, silver and money bills in the past, safely from outlaws.

Playmobil made sure to include a lot of gold bars in this set, not just that, but they are made of real metal. You get two treasure crates, money bags and even a road sign with a Vulture.

This is another Playmobil Special released in 1998, the Native American scout. These guys hide in high mountains and use strategies to see if there are enemies approaching. They are also good hunters.

Above you can see all the accessories, very few, pretty much just a rifle.

Playmobil 4544 Western Bandit

This is one of the first western bandit released by Playmobil under their small sets called Playmobil Special, set numbered 4544, released in 1997.

Above is a box art that showcases the new character with his detailed rifle and money bag. Unfortunately this set is very old (90’s) and hard to find, its value is around $10 to $20 US Dollars.

Here are all the accessories that comes in this box, a black bandana, a black bag, a rifle, the bandit and gold coins valued at 58 dollars. There should be 12 small coins, 8 medium coins and 6 large coins.

Here is a neat Playmobil Western set 3816, the weapons merchant. He comes with a unique looking donkey, carrying a bed roll made of actual fabric and several rifles.

The Western set also has a sign, pointing to a Ghost Town, Gold Mine and Boot Hill. Makes us wonder if playmobil had plans to release a small ghost town in the past.

Playmobil 3786 Sheriff’s Office, Western

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 15, 1994

The coolest sheriff’s office ever released by Playmobil. it became so famous that they relaunched it as an add-on numbered: 7378. The only letdown is it came without any characters.

There is so much to do with this set, it has a roof that can host several characters for a wild west shootout, the inside is pretty large and can be furnished to look like a cozy prison/office for the Sheriff.

Above you can watch PlaymoBello’s youtube review of the Sheriff set 3786 from 1994. Enjoy!

Above you can see all the accessories that comes with this set, two characters, one white horse with brown splashes, one oil lamp, a desk with chair and a rack of weapons.

Playmobil 3806 Western Fort Glory

posted by Playmobil Bello - December 11, 1994

This Western Union Fort Glory was released in 1994, numbered set 3806. With a total of five civil war soldiers, and several American flags, this became the most wanted set by the fans of westerns and little soldiers.

The fort itself is formed of several wooden like sheets that connect to one another by using a black bracket (see image below). The one let down of this system, is that the walls are always shifting and disconnecting with every movement. It doesn’t stop this set from being absolutely awesome, but would have been nice if it was more sturdy.

Another observation is the roof of the Headquarters, it doesn’t come off easily like other playmobil sets do. Creating another obstacle of play in that sense. The set has several accessories, including a Rambo style watch tower.
